I have had the lovely opportunity to teach many people the things that I have learned since starting my photography journey. Whether it be digital, film, post processing, etc.
I love getting to know other photographers who share the same passion for photography as I do. Its exciting. And many of the people I have mentored have become dear friends of mine.
I was approached by the wonderful ladies over at The Bloom Forum to host an online workshop on FILM. How could I pass it up?
I have a serious passion for film. While I plan to bring in digital to my workflow, soon, I WANT people so badly to shoot film. It has made me a better photographer. I also have a passion for helping other photographers. So yes, of course, I was in!
Okay, okay, getting on with the details already:
-Workshop date: Monday, February 27th – Monday, March 12th
-Workshop location: The Bloom Forum
-Where to register: HERE
-Pricing: There are 15 active spots. Active meaning you can participate 100% in the workshop. Active spots are: $200
-15 Silent seats (meaning you can only view what is going on in the workshop. You can’t ask any particular questions you might have) cost: $150
But what will the workshop include?
This workshop is geared towards those who maybe shot film years ago and need a refresher or those who have never touched a film camera and would like to venture into it. If you have been shooting film for a while now, this workshop will most likely be too basic for you.
I will have tons of video tutorials on loading film, different film formats, the many different film stocks, my entire film workflow, how I meter, how to look for light in your home, black and white film, shooting Polaroids- (just to name a few). We will have discussions on the look of film, other film photographers and why their work is special, (again…just to name a few)
I will be there daily to answer questions, and help with any issues you might be having with film.
If you have been interested in film, even in the slightest, this workshop is FOR YOU! (Plus, you get to see me act a fool on video) Does it get any better then that? -trust me…no, it doesn’t.
Please feel free to ask me any particular questions you might have! Email me at beckyearlphotography@gmail.com
And because it just feels wrong to post without an image. My Jess and her buddy Brista (don’t ask…..)..jpg)
Live better. Love more. Create now.

Toni Raper - I hope people realise two things, one this is a sweet awesome deal and two, once bitten they’ll never go back! If I wasn’t signed to learn from the big guy I’d be all over this! Good luck with it x
