These boys were like any other kind of brothers.
They teased, they rough housed. They irritated the heck out of each other at times.
But they also loved. They admired each other. They laughed together. They played together.
Plus they have the most amazing hair.on.this.planet.
and- AND their names are Max and Beck. Doesn’t get any cooler than that!
They were wonderful to photograph.
I want my style to be simple. To be about the subject. Not about the latest popular prop or clothing company. I want you to know these people I photograph as they are. I hope little by little I am achieving that.
I loved their moments of giggly fits. Bursts of laughter and even the shyness and reluctance of boys who are still figuring out what they are all about as individuals.
I love this last image. I was in the other room changing my film and came back into the room and this was exactly as they were. I fell in love with the serene quiet feeling of it.

Thanks for looking!
